DataSafe

Backup Your Information & Rest Easy

DataSafe

The data protection offered by DataSafe is a companion solution to your PhotoOne Software.  It automatically backs up files that are associated with your PhotoOne Software and transfers them to a secure, off-site facility.  DataSafe is priced at less than 50¢ per day and is integrated into the backup system, so there are no disks to keep track of, and no keystrokes to remember.  There is a simple one-time setup required.  You will receive daily emails notifying you that PhotoOne has successfully received your data.  The email includes the date and file size of your backup data so you can rest-assured that your data is safely stored off-site in case of a catastrophe.

What’s best about DataSafe is that the off-site facility uses UPS-protected, secured, mirrored disks to protect your data, plus we copy the backups to a second backup site daily, so the files will always be secured.

Here’s how it works:

First subscribe to our fee-for-service solution. This service is offered as a means of protecting your data from theft, missed backups, misplaced or lost data, or computer system failure. You can backup your data as many times as you want – we recommend a least a daily backup.  If you need to restore a file, you can do so with just a few simple key strokes. DataSafe will automatically connect to the PhotoOne server and download your backup file. DataSafe works optimally with cable/DSL and similar connections.

DataSafe is purchased in three month allotments at $45 per quarter or purchase the service for 11 months for $165 and get the 12th month FREE.

"The Internet automatic backup just saved me!

I was out of the studio when my wife called to tell me the computer has a " BLUE SCREEN"... I told her it would be OK just reboot... When I got back to the studio I found out it was more serious than I thought... The system will not restart!  Panic! What do we do now all of our schedules and customer information is on that system (the server for our 5 computer network).  I didn't panic I just called Tech Support and got another one of my systems ready to "host" the program.

A few minutes after my call to Support I got a call back and they had me back up a running in no time at all.  Whew!!!!

My advice to you... If you depend on PhotoOne to run your studio like we do... RUN don't WALK to the phone and get set up for the automatic Internet backup service... it's easy to do and you never know when that "BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH" is going to hit your system...  I'm a firm believer in backups and you can't beat an automatic system to get it done with no worry and no pain!"
