Hopefully you have had a chance to check out Part 1 in this series about using PhotoOne and LabPrints together.
In this post, allow me to introduce you to a few short steps you need to take to link PhotoOne to LabPrints. Assuming you have downloaded and installed LabPrints Digital Studio on you desktop, sign into your PhotoOne program. Then go to the menu bar and find SET UP > INTERFACES > LABPRINTS.
Once you arrive at the LabPrints Interface window, you will be presented with two radio buttons, under LABPRINTS PRODUCTS, of which you must choose one. The first radio button reads: “Create Product in Price File using Lab Product.” The second, “Match Lab Product to PhotoOne Price File.” If you are new to PhotoOne and don’t have any pricing or products saved in your program, please choose the first radio button. However, if you are an existing PhotoOne user who has pricing and products already in the system, please choose radio button number two.

The next set of fields below these radio button options are where you will browse and find your installation of LabPrints Digital Studio. Simply click on the “Browse” button next to the empty field and navigate to your desktop or wherever you have downloaded Digital Studio and choose it. The link is now complete. If you have multiple labs that you send your files to have printed, we have provided you up to three separate LabPrints Digital Studio installations to link to. Pretty neat, eh?
You’ll also want to link LabPrints to PhotoOne, but I’ll cover that in Part 4 of our series.
