The integration between PhotoOne and LabPrints is here and now. So, if you have one or the other, you should consider connecting the two.
The first step is of course making sure you have the latest versions of both programs on your desktop.
If you are considering PhotoOne, download the demo here. The desktop version (and yes, a web application is in development) runs natively on a PC (preferably with Windows XP) and can run on Apple Macintosh computers with Parallels. After you fill in your information on the DEMO page linked above, you will be taken to a page where you can download the program. Click on the PhotoOne logo and your computer will walk you through the process of installing the program, with a shortcut link of the PhotoOne logo right on your desktop.
Let’s download LabPrints Digital Studio. You will be presented with about 100 lab choices. Find the one you work with already or select a new one. Download the PC version of LabPrints. Once you save the .exe file, you will be asked to RUN the program. As in PhotoOne, LabPrints Digital Studio will also install and create a shortcut on the desktop to the program.
In the next several blog posts, we’ll discuss the following, so please bookmark this page and come back and visit us:
